The Sun Rays

The Sun Rays is the official publication of Sun City Texas, published by the Sun City Texas Community Association, for the residents of Sun City Texas.

The purpose of the Sun Rays is to relay pertinent information to the residents about upcoming activities and events, including club activities, special recreational and educational events and seminars. It is also a forum for relaying information important to the residents, such as budget reports, dining menus, phone numbers, facility hours and Del Webb information. Channel 79

Channel 79 is a Cox Cable station, run 24/7 for your convenience. Activities, events, trips, seminars, governance committee meetings and various other listings rotate daily on this channel for your convenience with background music for your enjoyment. Important reminders or notices are run as a scroll along the bottom of the screen.

News & Views   is a production of the Sun City Texas Community Association Communications Department and is aired each Monday and Tuesdays at 11 a.m., 2 and 6 p.m. on Channel 79. The show is taped every other Monday by a very dedicated staff. Learn more about the people behind the program . . . (to news & views microsite with photo gallery, list of crew with pictures)

News & Views is one other way to stay informed of the daily events going on at Sun City Texas. Creative interviews are also done each week, highlighting people, events, organizations and opportunities here at Sun City Texas.
