Purpose
The purpose of this Association is to promote
good fellowship and sportsmanship
among its members and to encourage the participation of its members in playing golf and
taking an active part in competitive golf tournaments every Tuesday. We also provide services,
time and talents to projects that contribute to the welfare of others.
Membership
All women golfers of Sun City Texas are invited to join the 18-Hole SCTWGA.
Our current membership is about 140 players, with six flights, determined by
handicaps. Our membership continues to grow as new women golfers move into our

Play Day
Play day is Tuesday, alternating golf at Legacy Hills and White Wing golf
courses. We have the following major events every year: Club Championship (3 Day),
President’s Cup (2 Day), Ace of Aces (1 Day), Eclectic Tournament (2 Day), Member/Member (1 Day)
and Match Play (3 Day). The sign up sheet for play is at the Legacy Hills Pro
Shop. Deadline for signing up to play is
4:00 pm on the Thursday
prior to the Tuesday Play Day.
Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the
first Tuesday
of the month, following play, in Meeting Room #3 at the Activities Center. An annual
meeting is held on the first (1
st) Tuesday of November. An annual luncheon is held in December to present the
end-of-the-year awards and introduce the new Board Members.
Dues
The dues are $50 per year. The year begins on January 1
st and ends on December 31
st.
