Year!
A Tasting of Spanish, Argentine and
Chilean Wines
Saturday, January 10, 2009, from six to
eight in the evening at the Oaks
Vino 100 will present five different
wines:
• Viña Alarba Grenache – Spain ( a
delightful fruit‐forward red wine, also known as
Garnacha)
• Casa Viva Pinot Noir – Chile (a tasty and
fruit‐forward version of one of the
world's favorite red wines. Fruity and spicy
all at the same time)
• Uma Torrontes – Argentina (the signature
wine of Argentina, full of crisp, fresh
fruit flavors)
• Reymos Sparkling Muscatel – Spain (a great
treat for the palate, bubbly and
slightly sweet, great by itself or with
dessert)
• Torres “San Valentin" Parellada –
Catalunya, Spain (a white wine with great
finesse, comes from the up and coming
producing area of Catalunya)
Our very own member, treasurer and wine
connoisseur
Randy McCrea,
(Wine columnist for the Williamson County
Sun)
Will give an explanation of each
wine,
What region it comes from and the type of
grapes that are used in its production.
We will have cheese, bread and crackers to
cleans your palate between the different wines.

Lenguas Extranjeras y experto en vinos,

dará una explicación sobre la región y
el tipo de uvas usadas en la producción de
cada vino.
Tendremos quesos, pan y galletas para
limpiar nuestro paladar entre cada vino.
