Multi-Day Hikes
The Sun City Hiking Club, as part of its offerings, arranges several multi-day hiking trips
per year to destinations that are too far way to travel to, hike and return in a single day
(generally, anywhere > 100 miles from Sun City).
At least 3 multi-day hikes have been planned for 2008. Trip details and registration
information is or will be listed below.
Eligibility requirements from the Hiking Club Multi-Day Procedures follow.
Eligibility

Each hiker must be a member in good standing of the Sun City Hiking Club.

Each hiker must participate in at least three scheduled hikes in the six months prior to
the month in which the multi-day hiking event will be held or in at least six scheduled hikes in
the 12 months prior to the month in which the multi-day hiking event will be held. Under
extenuating circumstances, the Executive Board can modify this requirement.

Multi-day hike participation will not count toward any of the three hike minimums.

Guests or spouses who are not members of the Club may not participate in the scheduled
hikes on the Multi-Day Events.

Club participation records will be used for this purpose and will be considered
final.
