Tournament News -- Why don't you play in the next one!

• We have a winning team in the March-April partners 8-ball tournament.  Will Saunders returned to his winning ways as he teamed up with Pete Finley to outlast perennial top finisher, George Perryman and his partner, Jack Warner.  This was the first billiard tournament that Pete and Jack entered and it is good to see some new faces in the hunt.  The random draw of team members yielded a pretty evenly matched field. 

• The Jack & Jill Scotch Doubles one day tournament is in the history books.  On Sunday afternoon March 16th, 'Rack-em-up Randy' & 'Phantom Phil' Pensabene did not lose a match in the round robin format.  As a result, they took home the trophies and the cash.  Also finishing in the money were Will & Karen Saunders in 2nd place and Ken & Gladys Wright in 3rd.  Larry & Liz Ciupak, Ken & Robin Morgan and Harry Daw & Flossie Allen filled out the remainder of the field.  We had a wonderful time and look forward to having another Jack & Jill event real soon.  (Jack & Jill = one guy and one gal on each team!)
