About us:
This is a new social group formed at the beginning of 2006 by local German-Americans and residents of German heritage. 

Informal monthly get-togethers are based on a common desire to meet and make new friends and share experiences gathered in the homeland as well as in our adopted country, the USA, that we call home now.

Discussions may explore the different customs and dialects prevalent in Germany’s various regions, expertly presented by a vibrant cross section of the group’s participants with roots in those areas. 

We would also like to learn more about the early immigrant settlers in Texas and carry on lively conversations on numerous other topics.

Meetings:

We meet the second Thursday of each month.  At the meetings we make plans for periodic lunches and dinners at various places in the vicinity.  Refer to updates in the monthly Sun Rays magazine.
