To enter all MGA Wednesday Play Day and Major tournament events you must go to any
Pro Shop and make the following applications & payments:

Fill out an application to the MGA; include a check made out to the Sun City Texas
MGA for your annual payment of $15.00 ($7.50 after June 30 for NEW residents only) and give to the
pro shop attendant.

Pay your USGA Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN) handicap fee to the pro shop
attendant. This fee is
not payable to the MGA and
is in addition to your annual dues. To be eligible for prizes in any MGA event, a member
must have a valid USGA GHIN handicap which may be transferred from your previous golf club or after
recording at least five (5) 18-hole rounds, entering them into the GHIN system at any of our pro
shops. However, you may continue to play while building your handicap but will not be awarded any
prize money (sweeps). The MGA will post your gross Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) score into the
GHIN system after every tournament. You should also post your ESC scores when you play in non-MGA
events (either locally or off-site) to ensure an accurate handicap. You can use the computer at any
pro shop or you can post at home with your computer after you have a GHIN number and register with
the GHIN web site. When you register with the GHIN web site you can also sign up for a monthly
e-mail alert from GHIN stating you your latest handicap index. You can also find a monthly-updated
wallet-sized handicap card at the Legacy Hill Pro shop, which will show your Local Course Handicap
as well as your index.

Have the pro shop attendant open an "MGA Prepaid Account" for you. This account will
be charged an event entry fee of $3.00 for each Wednesday Play Day you enter. This account should
be funded in even increments of $3.00. The account will always be available to you and will not
expire at the end of the year.

The sign up sheet for each Wednesday Play Day is located beside the check-in desk in
the LEGACY HILL pro shop. You may choose either the 9-hole
or the 18-hole sign up sheet. Look for your name on the list (or write your name in at the
bottom) then initial & check the prepay account box. You must sign up for a spot no later than
closing time Friday for the following Wednesday Play Day. Tee times (pairings) are generated by the
pro shop on Saturday and are posted by the MGA on the MGA web site, usually by Saturday afternoon
or Sunday morning, for the following Wednesday.

left column to link to your Wednesday Play Day or Tournament tee times. While you are here scan
through the other pages in the left column. You will need to refer to them in the future. Use your
"back button" to return to the home page after you link to any file in the left column.
6. The final step should be to save the MGA Home page to your "Bookmarks" or
"Favorites" and place a shortcut to it on your desktop.
If you have registered your e-mail address with the Community Association (CA) and
have not requested that it be unlisted you will receive E-MAIL ALERTS from the MGA with current
important MGA related golf information. If you have requested that it be unlisted you must provide
your email address to the MGA Communications Chairman in order to get these alerts!
No email address, no MGA email alerts!
